First Generation Camaro
  1. Three packages were made: the Rally Sport (RS), the Super Sport (SS), and the Z28
  2. The 1969 Camaro Z28 was used as a pace car.
  3. This car was designed to beat the Ford Mustang in the pony contest.
  4. It could be stocked with either a six-cylinder or a V8.
  5. The Camaro replaced the Chevrolet Corvair.
